Born in Belfast, Sally has dual citizenship - British and Irish. She moved to Manchester as a teenager and went on to study Drama and French at Bristol University, then joined the Bristol Old Vic as an actor.  She worked in theatre around the UK, the West End and in TV

Having always loved photography, she documented productions that she appeared in from behind the scenes and soon she decided to make the move to being behind the camera. Her backstage project the 12 Dames of Christmas was featured in The Telegraph and It's Nice That and was exhibited at Hackney Empire Theatre which led on to other commissions.

She made the move into unit stills photography after working on short films and has since worked in film and TV including coverage for flagship shows from BBC, ITV, SKY and AMAZON.

Recent work includes A Good Girls Guide to Murder (BBC Studios) featuring Emma Myers, Time 2 (BBC Studios) soon to be released, featuring Bella Ramsey, Tamara Lawrance and Jodie Whittaker (series photographer/key art) The Gold for BBC/Paramount+ (series photographer/key art) Fifteen Love for Prime UK, Doctor who special featuring David Tennant and Catherine Tate soon to be released, Arthur’s Whiskey a SKY film featuring Diane Keaton (photographer and key art) and Kidnapped (BBC Studios).
